@Nukage - I was pointing out the fact this needs a singer lol, because it sounds like this could be a vocal track, however i can't really sing, nor should i be expected to, so that's why i added it in there. I could send stems and MIDI if peeps want to work on it, and turn it into a vocal track, but as of now it's instrumental.

@Arcana - I actually don't know what this is to be honest lol. It sounds a bit like house music or something, with a hint of jazzy chords.

@Souperion - Until you get gut rot lol.

@Wassup Thunder - There is no green stuff is there?

@Misael.K - Montage music? Wow that's the last thing i think of lol. Reminds me more of like a dance party.

@Arcana - Not at the moment, but i wouldn't rule it out. The thing is i do want to stream, i really do, but i need to find the right setup. My room is a mess, nor am i comfortable with showing my face especially at this time, so that's out. I can record my computer screen, but there is:

  1. A possibility of messing up.
  2. Lag and delay.
  3. I could only record me making a track on my DAW, and since i'm not always on my computer (Because sometimes i might leave for a bit) there might be some still shots.

Again i'm not ruling it out, it's more so i don't have the right setup comfortable for me at the moment. I'm still testing things out. I could actually DJ mix my material for OHC, but it will be pure audio, and no stream/video. We'll see, maybe i might try something for next OHC, it depends on how things go. Unlikely maybe, but not ruling it out. Hope you understand.

@Wassup Thunder - Choco Gabba next week lol.

@Everyone - Thanks for the kind words! Surprised nobody recognised the title haha, it's from Coming to America.

Now then..

TheVideoGamer - This track was born out of a chord progression already saved. No synth or anything, just a chord sequence. I built it from there, making sure to capture the sweet essence of it. I primarily made it more housey, and kind of poppy to an extent, because Chocolate just fit that mould (Pun unintentional). Also the chords were played out in a way that felt like it needed a 4 on the floor beat. The drums were made out of the classic club sounds of the early 2000's. Also i added a percussion loop to spice things up, instead of going for a basic hi-hat pattern. With the exception of small chord variations in the middle, most of it is a 8 bar progression with changes in texture and sound. Again it's repetitive because it needs a singer. I couldn't do anything to change it up, since only a vocalist can fill the void. All in all though, i like what i did here, and i hope you do too.

Lyra_183 - This is pretty funny lol. Starting to figure out reverb eh? Good job!

DarkShadow - I can already guess what it's gonna sound like before even playing it haha. Not my favourite from you, but good work on this!

Souperion - Really nice string work here, great melodies. The chord choices were very interesting, does not feel like a smooth resolution. All intentional though. Personally i feel the way you structured the melody here is a little un-coherent, feels a little less structured, but at the same time i don't hate it. Maybe polish i don't know the idea is lovely here, good job!

cotmm68030 - Intricate Nine Inch Nails drums. Very much feels like it's going in that direction. The vocal processing is super cool, but very much lost in the mix. Almost a obtrusion than an addition. I would bring the vox up, to make it blend more. The rest is super nice though, i do love the background elements. The synths are very spacious. Really it's the vocals for me, all in all good job!

Nukage - Is this even nukage? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH THE REAL NUKAGE!? lol this is super dope, the vocoder effect on the voice (Assuming it's yours) Is incredible, super unique. If this is a live performance then man, it's among the best i've seen (Only because i've not seen a performance with everything on time and on beat). According to your description i get that feeling. The whole thing is amazing, awesome work!

DDRKirby(ISQ) - That bass slaps hard lol. I'm liking the blend of retro video game samples with modern day production, i'm glad you get to explore more of this. The melody writing is top-notch and just sooo good. I don't know how you make such good melodic content. The grooves were super lovely. Amazing work!

skandix - Very spacious synths i like it a lot. Really nice sound design, i feel this is the best part. The drums seem lost, it's almost as if you weren't planning on adding them in. The crunch sound effect (If it is called that) felt like it had no purpose. Mainly for me this feels like a start of something that could be developed into something awesome. Good job though!

animatrix1490 - Super interesting chords, definitely not your everyday progression. It's very uneven for me, the bass is very heavy into the mix, and there are moments it can get loud, but i do dig it a lot, the chords are super cool. Good job with this!

Misael.K - The one track where you can stay on the same chord for 3 minutes, and not bore me throughout. I don't know how you managed to keep 1 chord interesting, but i dig it soo much. This is almost a 1:1 c418 type beat. Something is up, if this isn't something out of Minecraft lol. All jokes aside, it's extremely well executed, the melody additions just keep it fresh, even for 1 whole chord. Super well done!

Wassup Thunder - This is very much a completely different direction for you, and i love it. The synth choices are lovely, definitely wouldn't mind you using more of these. Very rave inducing, reminds me of trance lol. The drums are very engaging for the style, and the structure is really good too, there is great dynamic changes. I also love how the melody is very well executed here too, all in all lovely work. Well done!

Suzumebachi - OOOOOOOOFFFF THIS IS BEYOND INCREDIBLE. I'm a sucker for huge ripping snares and growly dubstep basses. This is amazing, the grooves are fantastic, this is just amazingly produced. I'm insulted it ends so abruptly at only 1 minute, because the chordal material and sound design...ARE YOU THE NEW ASHKA!!??

Ethansight - Really liking the simple melody ideas, thrives on 2 chords. Great build-ups, drums were funky. As much as i feel this is incomplete, the chordal material and the way it's structure is super well produced, especially when it get's complex at the end (So much so it outweighs the incomplete feel of it all). Well done!

Barley - Welcome new guy. Great electric guitar tones here, it's a very interesting use of shuffle. The drums are very short and clicky, and doesn't seem to match the guitar work. Also it's very slow in the developments. The real meat happens at the end, when the track finishes. Lyrics are funny, if also in the back. Great first entry though, good job!

Arcana - Very cute for an arcana entry. Usually you go into more minor key territories. But i dig it a lot, it's a nice change. The autotune you've used is super well done, it's a lovely effects, and makes it in key. This is a case where your voice really fits super well into the track. The ending feels more minor, but i suppose it's just a natural change in chords. All in all this is a fine Arcana entry, really well balanced too, well done!

Atmospherium - Nice live acoustic instrumentation here, really liking the rock vibes here. I don't know if it's me, but the way it sounds, it reminds me of Nirvana, could be me. I really love your voice, it blends super well, i can't get enough of your singing. Just a lovely produced song, well done!

kboldskeep - FL Studio eh? Welcome to the dark side hehe. Really pretty chords, would love to hear you expand this, nicely done! Keep learning, and good luck! Good job!
