Nani is the closest thing to vaporwave, error prone had a long buildup but was worth it, and breakthrough was just really cool

ethansight for the awesome funky. The song really comes together once the melody comes in.

DDRKirby for the classic 9-bit. The kick here punches, the build-up really builds and drops. Great stuff.

Koekepan for the interesting journey. I liked the sounds and the overall ambience. Drums are cool and not distracting and the song is chill but yet has some direction and motion.

Also: DustHillGuy, starla, MisaelK, Darkshadow.

Thematic consistency was the name of the game this time. Ethansight pulled ahead by production qualities on top of that.

ethansight - I've been consistently impressed by the sounds in your entries. Just wish they were longer....heck, just copy-paste and repeat some of the earlier sections and i'd dig it.

starla - Also impressed at how you just randomly come into compo every once in a while and still manage to make tasteful beats/sounds to back your vocals. That little drum loop with the backbeat/stutters was a highlight here.

Misael.K - Fits the theme, nuff said

This one is really good, I love the synths.

Hand-Wave the Vapor by animatrix1490:
Maybe a bit to much distortion. The bass section is nicely contrasting. You could listen to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FMuQ11tVJnk and think about the difference in pitches, to really hammer home the feeling and get the distortion and feeling just right.

Crush those Pixelised Bits by Koekepan:
Gives a feeling of uncertainty, some parts are similar to astroneers ost, although the astroneer ost is a bit more dreamy, so you could take a listen to that if you havnt already.

dimensions by DarkShadow:
The effects are superdisorienting and I love it, would want an even longer song to hear what it could become!

Stolen Fame by Polaroid Giraffe:
The being chased feeling is all over the place and the slight drift towards 8-bit sounds amazing.

Error Prone by ethansight:
This one is also disorienting and the pluck synth sounds amazing when dissonant. Everything is a great addition and adds a lot to the sound.

Percussive Headache by Arcana:
It goes really well with the feeling you went for, and it the xylophone(i guess it is that) ground the song, even when it gets confusing.

Breakthrough by DDRKirby(ISQ):
The width that the song covers is nice, and the buildups are really nice. This one is a really well made song for a one hour challenge, and it feels well thought out.

i never knew u felt that way by starla:
The singing is really nice and sounds and effects are really nice and gets the feeling home for the theme.

N A N I ! ? by Misael.K:
It is so unnerving, and the music under the lyrics goes very well together.

Unmaking by GreyHooves:
Totally disorienting, until the quicker part comes in. Love it, and it fits the theme.
