DivinityStripes was incredibly evocative, and that always gets points with me.

Random-Storykeeper was everything that DivinityStripes was, but I didn't care for the sound design quite as much, so came in third.

Don't really have any specific reason, I just gave my votes based on what I liked the most =D

InvisibleObserver: this gets me closer to the theme than any other entry. I can feel some of the warmth, some of the crackling, and some of the peace associated with laying next to a fire.

johnfn: holy tightness, Batman! this is an awesome entry, with lovely melodies.

DivinityStripes: a very simple but very enjoyable entry. I liked the peacefulness and simplicity.

1) "Safe Haven" - I enjoy the running chords; they're very warm and are a great basis for your entire piece. I also get a feeling of cold and warm blurring together. Some of the notes sound a bit offtune, but overall this was the most well-rounded piece that captures the theme great.

2) "Cozy House" - DivinityStripes' really captures that feeling of warmth and cosiness inside the comforts of home. It's a shame it was shortlived.

3) "flame" - There's something captivating about how offsounding this is. I get the whole image of staring into a flame and being somehow entranced by its glow. Maybe it's a little too weird for my taste, but I listen all the way through.

Gosh, I really wanted to vote for Koekepan too. If I could put two in third place, it would be his. I also like johnfn's work too.
