Jarski got a great interpretation, and did it very well. Good entry!

Starla also did a great job. Slightly more conventional, and I think the tailed-off ending is slightly weak.

IXI did a great job on the calm, stylish aspect of the theme. Excellent job. The ending was too abrupt, so Random-storykeeper just squeaked into the lead.

1) "If I Play with Spirits, Will they Show me Blue Sky?" - Koekepan's piece was like nine minutes of communicating with nature in a more spiritual / uplifting sort of manner. I love it. So many of the lower notes, especially, make me think of "Spirit" from FEZ. If anything, I could have done without the fire crackling sound, which started a little too loud at the beginning.

2) "No Mask, Fitered Noise" - I enjoy the use of piano tying together all the other instruments - there's something that keeps the piece "grounded", but still gives it that uplifting, ethereal feeling. I just wish it was longer. :P

3) "Tall Tree" - This really goes in weird directions that I'm not the most fond of, but once it gets to that 2:05 mark, I think things truly come together. I like the harmonies at the end especially; they give that sense of "eternal"ness and that works great.

Random-storykeeper: love the tone in this, both dark at times and bright and sparkly in the end.
