Wow, the quality of this OHC was REALLY good. You guys make me feel like a noob because you are all so talented.

Here are some mentions. Honestly though I liked everyone's tracks.

SupaSpeedStrut: this piece was just so cool, so many diverse elements fitting together so well.
7thelement: really nice atmosphere.
generalmumble: those oohs combined with the bass of this song is just awesome. this would be an easy first place in a lesser week.
ddr: what sells this song is that "snare" (what is it?) the lead-in atmosphere is incredibly strong, and then we dive into some really nice melodies. great.
a-zu-ra: really pretty and unique sounding melodies here.
acuity: typical acuity, sounding great as usual.
cj - awesome sounds!!!
blastron: that choral sound is great. this piece has a really nice aesthetic.
trancient: we <3 you, come back :D :D :D your song was straight up gorgeous.

Dave's Cave was AWESOME, a compo unlike any I've ever heard, and executed with the wit that only Scootalewis is capable of.
Mechanized Whalesong was also awesome, capturing not only the sounds of classic Chiptunes, but the VIBE as well. That's hard to do.
Heart of the Island also had a fantastic vibe, took me back to the 80's. =3

1) Really interesting sequences of notes and pitches, impressed that you can create such a mood in one hour without being worried you'll mess it up.

2) I'm a sucker for gritty dirty in-your-face stuff like this :D

3) Just masterfully made, nice mix of chippy and non chippy, great length, progression, everything.
