Nice tracks! These are kinda similar, and it was very hard to pick, but I feel I liked Haunter's gaze a bit more. Love the orchestral style in both of these.

Chalis - The EDM elements work really well on this track. The instruments themselves are a little thin and could use some beefing up. All in all though it's cool that you took a sombre track and gave it some bounce!

Kat - Wow, this sounds like an epic boss battle from Dark Souls! My only critique is that the intro goes on for a little bit too long. Otherwise this is awesome!

DusK - Nice minimalist take on the source. The instruments sound very warm and well produced. The minor addition are a nice touch as well.

YoshiBlade - You can definitely tell this isn't an MnP creation :) It's a very well put together mix with excellent use of SFX, however it deviates to far from the MIDI-rippish standard of MnP.

Chalis - Yeah the production of 'Rest in Piece', esp. on the strings is moldy and the drum samples are reaal dry, but the rest is super solid in my books. LOVE the bass, chiptuney stuff, the filtered sounds and synths - that driving techno beat actually complements the feel well. Usually I dislike techno-adaptations, but this worked out nicely imo. Moreover, is that it doesn't focus on just the techno, but experiments with ambient creepy styling (my style haha) and keeps it very MnP.

Kat - Gravestone is sick metal cover, well produced. It DOES change the mood quite a bit into a more epic movie trailer feel, but that's alright. This is too good not to slap into a voting slot. You're getting better and better Kat!!

YoshiBlade - This is a sick remix and has a great balance of MnP and originality. But I cannot put it in 1st place out of principle for not being made specifically for the compo. I PROBABLY should've made it a BONUS, but ehh, it's worth a 3rd place vote to me :D - this is just too good!

DusK - Haunter's Gaze; it's funny I assumed I'd be slapping you in 1st place DusK, just because you usually make some fucking bad ass remixes (Haunter's Gaze is no exception ofc), yet I found the other 3 mixes had more going for them. BUT that being said, this is a very enjoyable remix, well produced and definitely spooky. Nice work :)

YoshiBlade's take on the piece was both well-produced and maintained the original atmosphere and feel well enough.

Kat's piece had a lot of glaring production issues, but still did a great job of preserving the mood of the original track.

Chalis did a great job on creating an EDM track, but it completely breaks the mood of the original. Something like this would make a fantastic OCR submission with some polishing, but it goes too far off-base to consider it a solid MnP entry.

Haunter's Gaze:
I'm a sucker for orchestral/piano stuff as it is, and this was well done and kept the original mood perfectly. Is that Rhapsody Orchestral Colors strings I hear?

Lavender Remix:
Excellent mix overall, a bit of a dramatic change to the mood(but I'm one to talk there, eh?) but it works.

Rest In Peace:
Not too bad, really. I feel like a smoother sequenced violin/string section at the end would've added a lot though. I liked how it moved between slower sections and more trancelike segments.
