Well, automatic loss for me :c That track is amazing, Dusk! You definitely kept the original mood, and this is good rock! The vocals fit in perfectly.

I like the feel of Kat's track too! I like both of these tracks, vocals definitely fit this source.

DusK - nice heavy rock interpretation DusK and Starleeter. It is def. an MnP track for sure; nice E-guitar work too. Starleeter kicked ass as a vocalist too! I think you guys oughta sub this to OCR ;)

Chalis - This is pretty mellow, but I THINK the mood is retained well enough. Nice use of dynamics and velocity work. This is tough, I'd be in a bad spot too were I to compete. Can't really compete against someone with kick ass E-guitars, a vocalist and better sound set up. So I feel for ya bro lol. Regardless, I think this isn't too shabby and daresay you're improving chalis.

Kat - Nice work Kat and Matt Greco. Another great addition to MnP. I'd say I enjoyed DusK's 'Wait for a Moment' a bit more, but 'Retrospect' is a pretty kick ass remix too. Good jorb!

Chalis - I like the start and the built-up to the middle part. I think the kick is a little bit too loud around 1:00 but it get's better in the part after that. Also the change to the part around 3:00 is interesting, I like the change in volume you used here. At 3:50 it happens again, but here it would have been better to make the difference in volume a bit less. I enjoyed the mix of used samples and the song is interesting till the end.
DusK - Great vocals. It's a great combination together with the metal/rock style you used. I like the way you switch between the harder and more calm parts, it's a nice mix. The guitar after 3 mins was amazing.
Kat - Another 5+ min piece, even 6+ :). The vocals are nice, they work good in this song; I don't think they are too loud (at least not in an annoying way). I like the combination with the piano and drums in the background. Also liked the 'silence' at 4:48 and the ending.

It was actually a little tough to decide. I loved the pads in "The Way to the Sky", and the mix itself was very morose. Overall excellent, though I feel like it could've been a little more dynamic.

I feel like Wait for the Moment was almost too much of a change, but stayed just close enough to win a first place vote. I think the vocals played a big part in that - going with clean vocals and maintaining a high octave helped keep the original mood, even with the heavier guitars chugging away.

Great work on both mixes, though!
