Brandon Strador - The vocals are great, but the highlight is the guitar starting around 1:55. I also loved the ending a lot.
Kat - Good introduction, the strings work very good. I liked the use of the drums
Supercoolmike - The introduction is great, the combination with the flute works good. The source is used on a nice way.

Messire Cookie - The part when the drums start (around 1:30) is really nice, I like the sampling of it. It misses some variation at the end.

(this is probably the fastest vote ever)

Great entries everyone! Props to Brandon for your superb voice cover, great choice of instruments that brings back NieR memories (maan, the nostalgia..), and this final part that blows everything away!

Brandon Strader - Very good instrumentation and vocals as per usual with your remixage there, Brandon. And it is very MnP, with a sort of rock-opera-cover feel going on. Me likey much. :D

bundeslang - it has a very John Carpenter feel going for it - I really enjoyed your "Tribute to the Fallen". I wouldn't call 'em hi-fi, super robust instruments, but they definitely do the job. 1:58 is a nice touch with the classic guitar. The percussion also complements the feel well. 3:20 was reallly nice with the key change! Also really digged those pads. Great atmosphere over all!

Supercoolmike - Undying Virtue is awesome! I love the swelling pad effect and the filter cut-off effect on the arp. Nice touch with the flutey-synth! 1:30 - I sort of predicted that the drums would come in there and Lo and Behold they did! The drums are nice too, as they have an atmospheric jive and maintain a nice slow tempo. I sorta wish that the snare sample had a more ethereal reverby feel to it, but oh well. I liked this a lot! The over-all mood and pacing is retained perfectly as well.

Kat - Broken is pretty damn good, especially production-wise. It's fairly enjoyable too. Great marching percussion. This was tied for 3rd place for me with bundeslang, however, bunda went for that John Carpenter feel and well, I couldn't resist T_T

messire_Cookie - Nice underwater piano feel to it at the beginning. If this weren't a BONUS, I'd have pegged this one at 3rd place probably. It has a nice ethereal feel and slight variances in the original melody, which were nice. A bit of dissonance towards the end, but eh it didn't bug me all that much. Over-all pretty decent job there Messire.

Making Ammends:
Nice work on the vocals. The heavier part towards the end almost felt out of MNP territory, but maintained the original mood perfectly. I've gotta give this a first place vote.

Undying Virtue:
Loved the atmosphere this mix had. Really nicely done. I liked how the snare part was swapped over to a kick with a high-hat. Added a good deal to the mood.

Tribute to the Fallen:
Interesting sound choices. Worked well and got the job done. I liked the little break at 2:30 before going back into the main melody.

(Bonus) NieR - Grandma:
Simple, sweet and to the point. Liked the flute sound, though the lack of breath rests caught my attention. Snare drum velocity could've been adjusted to avod the bullet sound, but I'm a little guilty of that as well. Overall a very nice piece.
