UnKnown Alias - very faithful to the source and it sounds pretty authentic. Nice! 0:37 onward good touch with the original melody with the accompanying cello! The ending was a bit rushed feeling, but it works for me.

DusK - It's verging on the line of being too interpretive with the tempo change and the mood shifting to something more sombre - this is still very good nonetheless!

Jorito - Despite the genre swap, the mood is retained perfectly, so this still fits the MnP guidelines AND is very enjoyable!! What did synth did you use for the Acapella vocals?? Or is this all your vocals?

gercr - holy crow this is TRIPPY lol. In a good way mind you. Not bad I say! Also that muffled piano and e-guitar are pretty nice!

Touchstone - Nice adaptations with the melodies whilst keeping to the original mood. You're almost at the level of the other guys, keep at it!

Electrolisystem - An interesting chiptune adaptation - I felt that the mood was changed a bit into something very campy lol. Still, not bad!

evktalo - This is some kick ass re-interpretation for sure! However, it is definitely too far from MnP's feel as this turned the source tune from something relaxed to epic and as you mentioned it IS very SHUMP-y. This is very enjoyable!

I've already mentioned to DusK once that I'll vote for his piece, despite the fact that I should vote for something else "because this sucks." Regardless, there's something about this track that I just love.

For Second, I liked the idea gercr presented, and I would have had a much harder time for this if he had had more time to work on it more. However, I feel that Jorito's take is a little higher caliber.

Although to be frank, I'd love to hear both gercr's and Jorito's remixes continued and fleshed out. Maybe you can get some singers sometime Jorito?

DusK: very soothing, loving it. Song and instrument wise it's a bit simple, but it fits the song well and has a good feel to it, you definately nailed the sleepy acoustic feeling :) The ending strum sounds a bit too hard for me, taking me out the dream tho.

touchstone: quite a contrast with DusK's version, more bombastic. A bit too bombastic for the source, I'd say. With some volume changes and some automation you'd get a bit more dynamics out of it than this full-on wall of sound. Still, some nice variations in there. Ending is a bit abrupt.

Unknown Alias: nice take with the cello taking the lead, together with the groovy accompartiment and the sub melody on violin it works really well. Nice smooth vibe, great job. Ending could have been better tho.

evktalo: even tho it's a bonus track, it's worthy of mentioning here! It's a very different track than the others, still like it a lot tho. At times it reminds me more of nineties computer game music than 80s synthpop, but very enjoyable nonetheless. Digging the extra stuff you added too, really nice!

gercr: very interesting approach to the source, and the style you chose works well I think. Personally I'd pick something more soothing than a synth for the lead, but that's taste of course. Digging the vibe, too bad it's short and lacks a proper ending. Really would like to see this finished.

Jorito: not your best work, but an interesting take on the source track nontheless :P

Electrolisystem: I always appreciate chiptunes, being the nostalgic sucker that I am. You nailed the retro chiptune style definately, and in that respect it sounds nice. Not too sure if it works with the vibe of the original song that well, but I like the arps and sub melodies you added. Brings me back 20 years :)

Lots of short mixes, which makes it not easier to make a top 3

DusK - This is an amazing song to play in the background.
Electrolisystem - Short, but funny. Could be the start of an amazing chippy mix.
Gercr - Liked that main sample a lot.
Touchstone - The strings and clarinet really work well together.
Unknown Alias - Liked that cello. Funny ending.
Jorito - Very creative mix. I enjoyed it.

I felt that Dusk and Electrolisystem did well, but Joritio really captured Traverse Town in acapella.

1. Dusk: Excelent.... Great Acoustics guitars !, just plain awesome. There was no doubt for me here, 1st place.

2. Great upgrade of sound

3. Interesting choice of sounds.

Also would have vote for the Jorito entry if this was PRC, But I felt that for MnP it was a little excessive, nevertheless it was a nice entry

Nice bonus BTW

Dusk - Really dig this piece. very calm and peaceful.

TouchStone - I think the overall loudness was a bit too high especially since u kept the loudness in the beg ( didn't let the listeners ease into it). Other then that, dynamic changes here and there with ur instruments would be great. also, I felt like I was walking into an abandoned castle when the last 20 secs played, not sure if this is a good or bad thing.

Alias - ur piece made it sound like I was in a farm. I'm not saying this is a bad thing. it was very interesting.

evktalo - idk if it touched on the 80's/90's that u were going for but it was still pretty cool to listen to. Like a future synth pop or something.

Gercr - even if its a wip, it still showed that it had potential. imo, idk if the pad/synth used was a good choice but I liked everything else.

Jorito - omg, do whatever u can to get real singers. song is great and I would love to hear the updated version ( if u were to do it of course).

Electrolisystem - I'm imagining this is how it would sound If i was playing KH on the original Game boy. nice touch.
