Argle: Instruments were a little mechanical, but the presence of synth elements helps excuse that, and sounded really good besides. Nice soundscape most of the time (a few sections were inexplicably missing frequencies), and the harmonies were fun and well-executed.

Chernabogue: Balance between the various elements was a bit off, and several segments just didn't have enough sections. There's a really annoying, throbbing bass in places, made me thought I was hearing a crappy inkjet printer. The accompaniment was off in places, tiny bits in pitch and timing. Overall just felt less polished than Argle's submission.

GrapplingHook: Well, some parts worked. The synth bass was really nice in some places. But most of it not so much. Also, too many instrument changes make a remix sound incoherent. Balance was off here, too, and many parts again seemed to be missing elements to flesh out the soundscape.

HoboKa: Hey, not just a sound upgrade! It's nice to hear something with a little bit more fun in the arrangement. But a lot of the improvised accompaniment was pretty wacky, not in a good way.

Difficult to decide this one, both had their plusses. Chernabogue had energetic strings and brass while GrapplingHook channeled the 80s. On the criticism side the mixing was murky and balancing off for both tracks.

Argle: Chip Tunes, plus live guitar and full of energy; yeah this one definately won out on the enjoyability scale for me, so grats.

Chernabogue: It's decent, yet inconsistent for me, on both energy and instrumentation. The choir replacing the organ is cool. There seems to be something big that's missing (to me) and I think it's mostly due to the low end being neglected. Usually I'm not a huge proponent of shoving basslines in every single remix, but this particular source tune relied very heavily on a strong bassline, and without a proper replacement of some form, it felt like a huge void for me. The brass was okay at some parts and excelled at others for sure. Your remix is definitely a good second place contender nonetheless and much better samples than my remix (albeit I thought mine had a bit more energy than yours muahaha :P)

GrapplingHook - Nice. I don't think that weird sounds are a bad thing per se, just needed to be brought out a lot more: I'd say that the lead instruments needed to made a lot louder. Still, it's an improvement from your first remix for sure. Maybe not as good as your MnP round 2 remix though. Keep at it Grapplyhookz :D

Argle added the best original touch and GrapplingHook's track was more creative than Chernabogue's.

Better production and instrumentaion in Argle's track. Really nice punch in the drums, and nice samples. Maybe a bit too much bass, but that's okay.

GrapplingHook's was more simple, but lacked energy and I was not a fan of the all-synth thing.

Feedback on this one is odd for me. im so used songs being dramatically different! its harder for me to pick up on the subtle differences in instrumentation and give accurate feedback.

I don't feel like I can really say much here. Both are very similar takes, and I just happen to like Battle This! a bit more.
