Gario - Good to see you back in PRC action. It' s been a while but I didn't forget of course. Liked what's there, for example the building part around 0:40. Too bad you couldn't finish the song.
Jorito - Another ' return of a legend'. Very nice style, a good song to play on the background to relax. Enjoyed the change in the background around 2:45.
PlanarianHugger - The vocals are a nice addition to this song, they are used nicely and for some reason they match great with the used samples, even though they are different.
Starphoenix - It's short (of course, since you couldn't finish the song) but I like the bells you used.
Silverpool - Don't know what style this is but it's funny. For some reason it reminds me to FriendlyHunter, a mixer who was on Vgmix years ago.
I will keep an eye on the upcoming MnP round as well.

Bundeslang - Liked the part after 3:37 the most.... My prediction is a score of 3 points, since you voted.

Disturbed Island

Nice punchy oldskool drum beat. Not sure about the role and pacing of the synth line that kicks in at 0:04. Feels like the envelope is a bit too slow for what you’re trying to do here. The lead instrument isn’t the greatest to my ears, but the gating you did on it makes it interesting. Gets better when you layer in the extra synth later on. Keep an eye on your mixing though, I think I hear a lot of clipping and things are in each others’ sound space. 1:55 would be a good time to get rid of the lead and do something else. Contrast would work well here, so maybe break it down to a very minimal pad + short synth lead with a different line. Also mind the dissonance in the later part (after 2:30), it gets kinda messy.

Don't clobber me, Shinryu!

Too bad you couldn't finish this. I like the chippiness, the general craziness, atmosphere and lead and how it gradually breaks open at 0:30. Lead work is great and lively and when the drums kick in it becomes nice and frantic. Would be interesting to hear a more fleshed out version.

Foil Fisticuffs

Not a fan of the voice clips; feels a bit out of place and a cheap way to make things more interesting. It'd be interesting to see how you can make it interesting with changing/adding notes or drum fills to transition to and from parts. The part at 2:10-2:20-ish didn't quite work for me and felt a bit unnecesary. Biggest thing I could recommend you to dive into would be drums/percussion; learn how you can use them to create certain moods and feelings and how they can help you transition into different parts and make your arrangement flow better.

Neon Colored Turtle Shell

Interesting dancy vibe. Like the lead instrument and the chip harmony and the drums remix me of synthwave/italo. The part at 0:45 is a good place for a break, but the chords and lead are quite dissonant. At some places it feels a bit restless due to note pacing, and you might be having a tiny bit too much going on (a sin of mine too), so listening back critically and see if a part makes sense would probably be a good idea. All in all I rather like it and would like to hear a finished version.

Whoa Zone (Silverpool ReMix)

Let’s start by saying this definitely isn’t my favorite source. I think it’s very empty and probably more used for ambience/background in the game than an actual piece of music to listen to standalone. Subjective, of course. Anyhoo… it feels a bit empty, I think I am missing a bass instrument? Might also be the mix. The part at 0:50 feels dissonant to me. That’s not a bad thing if you keep it short, but it lasts like 20 seconds. Same for the part at 1:13; the arp and the synth melody seem to be playing in different keys. All in all I think it could do with more variation, especially in that arpeggio that goes on relentlessly for a long while. All in all I think it would be interesting to try and deviate more from the source and give it your own spin and embellish it with your own elements.

Follow the Sun - Really solid remix. Wouldn't have expected an orchestral-style remix, but you did a great job with this.

Foil Fisticuffs - Very straight-forward 80's style remix that does the job. Almost had a Stranger Thing vibe in a few places.

Disturbed Island - Been awhile since I played Ducktales, so I don't quite remember this theme, but the mix is fun after about the 1 min mark when everything kicks in.

I'm not really familiar with any of the sources so I just voted for the tunes I liked the most. I thought Jorito's orchestral arranging was particularly well done.

bundeslang - Beginning is rough and sound are too loud and jarring.
Jorito - Epic and adventurous. Nice movement with the arrangement and instrumental choices.
Gario - Shame it's too short but like the 8 bit final boss idea.
Starphoenix - Like the feeling but was short and was waiting for the next part.
Silverpool - Could use some variation and some adjustment of instruments sounds. For example the super static drums. Add some character to your sounds.

bundeslang:
Nice ReMix! I like the xylophone at the end.

Jorito:
I think you did a great job, even though I'm not that fond of this ReMix.

Gario:
It seems like the synth at 0:06 to 0:15 sounded a bit dissonant. I want to see where this goes, and I wish it was longer.

PlanarianHugger:
I love this ReMix. The voice clips are a little distracting, but I absolutely love your source!

Starphoenix:
I love this style of music, but your ReMix was too short to get my vote. I'd love to see a longer version of this!
