It was tough choosing between you two for PRC94, so I'm not too surprised that I'd have a difficult time again choosing between you here.

*Sigh*

The two remixes are actually eerily similar, and they both feature really strong lead instruments. Analoq's mix sounds a bit like...a love theme (that just might be my own twisted imagination speaking, but I can picture Male Lead snogging Female Lead whilst cyanic14 plays in the background) whist Nutritious' is more relaxing.

Both mixes have slown down the original (really rather fun) source, but you can tell they're both derived from it easily.

In the end, I've given the nod to Nutritious. As analoq said, his song isn't really finished. And it's a shame, because I really did enjoy his mix a lot (as I usually do with his stuff).

Two enjoyable mixes, either way. Thanks and congrats to both of you.

And not a marimba in sight...

analoq - I really liked this idea but the length of it meant that it really didn't progress that far :(. I'd like to hear you try something in this kind of style again in the future.

Nutritious - This reminds me of some SEGA track from some DC game, really can't remember which now. Sounds are really clear and the sax stands out. A few off notes with your sax playing but overall this was cool, and as you said - chilled.

Analoq - Nice intro, I like the samples. It's a bit boring and short. Also the end is too long, for a 1:04 song. Funny piano ending.
Nutricious - I also like this beginning, nice switch around 0:33. Nice lead, but I think it's too powerfull for this song. I like the background samples. The intro-middle-ending balance is good.

Well!

Nutritious: Some nice laid back sax-playing (some notes are really offbeat though - but that's not too annoying), and a pretty chill soundscape. I like your harmonies and how you use the source, not bad at all. I think however, as a minor issue, that you did use a bit to much reverb on some instruments. It comes off as a bit too wet for my taste.

Analoq: I like were you're going with the source, but it's a short mix you have got, and I would _really_ like to see a more finished one.

I like most of your sounds used, but I'm not wild about the guitar-playing - that's not too interesting. I dig most of the interpretation and harmonies, (despite the groove being a bit boring) but just when I get the feel that stuff are going to happen, the song just cuts off and ends. As you say, you didn't get to far. Hell, give me more than just an intro! :)
