Impatience is the Best Virtue is a very well done piece that really reflects a part of the diner experience. Well done.

Misael.K's Trip Break is also great, partly because its somewhat ponderous pace is in keeping with the mid-trip fatigue one feels.

Shitbird's entry is polished, slick - but somehow didn't convey either the title or the diner experience to me, so it got third place.

Most of the competition didn't hew close enough to the theme to get a vote, despite musical virtues.

There were a lot of interesting and different entries this week.

1) "A Little Tune ft. Steven William" has a road trip feel to it, and I think it also sort of fits with the theme being that the lyrics in particular have that "diner" charm to it. I also love the vocals in this, especially with that background voice singing an octave lower.

2) "Thinking..." is simple but effective at getting what it tries to convey across, and would probably work great as a level select song.

3) "lmbh" feels less related to the theme, but I'm in love with those "oh"s paired with the accompaniment. It's super catchy with a good beat.

I also really love "Peripheral Audition" - it has a jazzy sort of dark feel to it, and the soundscape is amazing. "FAT MAN VS SALAD" gets an honourable mention nod for the premise alone.
