Great, great round. Arcana and flipbit03 earn honourable mentions in particular.

Yoshiblade's tune really captured the mellow gentleness of the images, while being sonically true to them. The whole package.

Tranquil quiet was almost as good, I just didn't quite like the sound design as much.

Unshaped Blossom was a strong representation of some of the thunder and chaos of the littoral zone. Lovely sound design work, but less coherent.

Hallow- Great track, if this was a true blue OTC and you made this in 1hr with the above pictures in mind, then you did great. You followed the theme, worked in a time frame and made something well produced and enjoyable, great job!

Misael.K- I don't know what to make of this one...the synth seems outta place compared to the smooth ethereal sounds of the pads in the background, and the banging drums had a little too much reverb for my taste, but you followed the theme and worked within a time frame

DDRKirby(ISQ)- I've followed you since your FF6 B&R album appearance and I wouldn't have placed this third, if only for the following reasons...It's soooo fucking good we all know this is, with superb production, but also there ARE coral reefs in Ireland, so I guess it's not too distinct from this weeks theme. So for that you get 3rd, Great productions and sound awesome, but I'm not convinced this track was inspired by this week's theme...still I love this track, maybe post this one when it's complete? :)

Everyone else- Great job! If the voting was based on whether it Sounds good or not this would have been a lot harder to cast my vote, but keep on the theme! Test your mixing skills with a concrete theme and a limited amount of time, see y'all next week!

Dang, I really loved the theme this week. Lots of awesome entries. Underwater themes ftw.

"Save the Ocean and such" - This doesn't just capture the feeling of an ocean for me, this captures a lively, colourful, vibrant ocean almost perfectly. It's probably just me, but the hihat/snare on the offbeat comes off too strong. But yeah, I still love this.

"Tranquil Quiet" - I like this one a lot...it's quite peaceful but still has a lot of movement. I enjoy the bass and the subtle overlays to a repetitive theme. For me, it really captures the little sessile creatures swaying underwater.

Determining third place was tough...it was pretty much a tie between
"Underwater Passions" and "Underwater Minimaliquid". Arcana's entry is just pleasant and easy to listen to. The light chords really hold the piece together and probably the sole reason I keep listening to this. but flipbit03's music has an interesting sound to it that brings back great memories of listening to song 5 from Lee Nicklen's Toxic II soundtrack, particularly at 2:16 to 3:05 in the entry.

Anywho, it was a tough decision, but in the end, I felt like Arcana's music stuck with my interpretation of the theme more and was more inviting for repeat listens.

Additional honourable mentions:

"In the Throne Chamber of Neptune" - This was definitely not the sound I was expecting from Koekepan based on previous works lol. Regardless, it manages to bring out the best in a fanfare-mixed-with an underwatery theme. So props to you.

Other pieces I like but can't find a sufficient enough reason to explain why:

- "Lucent Carly"
- "trippin on neon circles"
- "bingobongo"

Overall, really good stuff.

Yoshiblade: this is super cool. It reminds me of the DustForce OST, it's got that mixture of chill and energy that I just love. Is there some Boards of Canada there, too?

Lucinate: great job on the textures, feels very underwatery without being too muddy. Good beat!

aptbr: good chill entry. I enjoyed the different sounds.

awesum: aptbr, flipbit03, Hollow, jarski, Lucinate, Svetlana, Yoshiblade.
good: Arcana, DDRKirby(ISQ), Koekepan, Patashu, sci.
