I had a really hard time voting this round, way too many good entries to vote for only three! johnfn takes the cake this round for a very elaborate and awesome approach!

Also:
Usa: for the fullness and the completeness. I liked it all, again it had that kind of sci-fi futuristic feel to it.

Atmospherium: for the intensity. Your voice is really good and the playing is solid.

DDRKirbyISQ: For the emotions, the thrills, and my record high score.

blastron: for putting together something really great with so little experience. You have really good intuition

obScene: for trying new stuff, and having it really succeed

MisaelK: for the pleasant and peaceful song, but also for the story that it tells

Ducks: for the interesting polyphony and the nice pads.

There were a lot of good songs this week. Everyone did really really well.

Usabell - Love the flow in this one. Wow.

johnfn - Dig the concept, dig the execution (just tweak the transitions a lil and you got something super ace).

DDRKirby(ISQ) - I had a ton of fun listening to this from start to finish.

Good job to all the other contestants. Solid stuff.

MENTIONS GO TO...

Acuity dangg so pro piano. Such good. Wow.

Tomapella brings DA FUNK. Dat switchup at 1:00 is awesome. I love it. Just needs some quiet part somewhere to emphasize bringing the band back in.

Does Usabell use a bell in all of his songs? Is that why he's called usaBELL? The questions of our time. Dang though, it's mixed so well. I kinda wanted some central melody I guess. But it's still an awesome song.

obScene continues to make us all feel bad by claiming that his amazing pieces are uninspired. Dat piano section. hnng

Zedd you continue to impress me. Cut down the drop to 8 bars, or add a lot of variation in the wubs (it gets a little repetitive currently), but the production is pristine and you use white noise like a pro and it makes everything sound magical. If this song was half or a third of its current length it'd get my vote, it's just too repetitive currently.

DDRKirby(ISQ) you know, it makes me feel better about my mixing issues that even you occasionally mess up the mix a little. My favorite part of this song is definitely the little phrase that starts at :48, but there are a lot of other cool things going on (I like the da-da-da at 1:44). The way you move through sections is really nicely executed. Pro ending. The melodies aren't as strong as they were in Flow Unlimited but that song was mindblowing anyways and it's unfair to compare. They are stronger than all of your other recent stuff.

A-zu-ra I remember those bells from all the way back in OHC214. (That was exactly a year ago! Do you recycle your ideas on a yearly basis or something O_O) And yeah, the lead needs delay and the beeps need stereo delay. It's still good though.

blastron - good job being the most successful advertisement for Rocksmith, ever. Love the first part. Super props on the vocal delivery up until :43 especially, it reminds me a lot of some garage rock bands I really enjoy. For some reason :43 doesn't hit as hard as it should. Especially after the the heavy notes in the intro, I was expecting it to really hit me, but instead it gets comparitively quieter. It might be in your best interest to just make the first bit quieter, so that the chorus stands out. Anyway though, awesome.

johnfn - I don't even know why I'm critiquing everyone's mix considering I screwed mine up so bad LOL

Trancient writes amazing melodies so effortlessly. I hate him. But not as much as I love him. If that makes sense.

-----------------------------------------------------------

It's really hard to choose tops, I feel like all of the above are quite close in quality (except me LOL)

First place to tomapella because the transition at :50 is mindblowingly well executed. Also there are so many crazy melody lines all over this piece.

Second place to DDRKirby(ISQ) for pro melodies.

Third to obScene so he'll stop saying he's uninspired all the time. Nah jk. It's for that one piano section. You know which one.

Zedd - Hands down best fit for theme, atmosphere and quality, really wish you had taken this further but hey only so much you can do with an hour.

A-zu-ra - Lots to enjoy here. Perfect fit for theme.

DrumJ8 - Great fit for theme.

Usabell - Another great fit for theme.

MandraSigma - Very nice work here.

DDRKirby(ISQ) - All kinds of good

johnfn - Good stuff, lots of variety but love the last part. Makes me think of Journey to Silius.

Trancient - Good stuff but reminds me too much of Aftershock, for which I have listened at least 50 times.

Honorable mention: Shael_Riley. You know, I avoided watching that video when someone stuck it on FB, but then you wrote this song and I had to go see it. Yeah, thanks for that.

johnfn - How do you write so much in such little time? And have all the sections be so strong?

Blastron - Great job for your first time out on guitar. I'm super impressed at how much you were able to get done lyrically/vocally on this as well.
