@Sansero - even if you didn't upload in time and the track doesn't show up here, yours was my favorite today. Nice use of instruments and FX, I really enjoyed your track a lot!

@JohnGabrielUK - Piano Madness! Black MIDI! What's not to like? 11/10, would plummet to my death again!

@Arcana - You being able to get musical ideas down so super quick is inspiring. I also started a bit later, but your results are great, gj!

@jontopielski - I love that soundfont of yours. Some General MIDI variant? Great selection and application of sounds all around, really enjoyable :)

@TVG - Dude. It's not even funny anymore. I'm really disappointed in you failing to meet limits, as if you wouldn't care. I do like the composition and I like the idea of speeding the track up over time, but your disregard for fairness is totally not cool.

@Vaia - I knew you had something to say about the length. Truth be told, i re-rendered this about an upwards of 4-5 time just to push the length down. I didn't want it to be this way, but for the desired effect (Of a long drawn tempo curve) i had to take risks. Besides i was only 8 seconds over. Don't tell me this is also imposed in 2hts lol. These listening parties are super short anyways, have you ever had a 90mc go to like 20-30 minutes? No average is 10 minutes, which if that's a problem, then lord only knows how you react to at 40 minutes. All i can say is sorry, let's forget about it yes?

@Jonto - It is very useful, especially because you can convey meaning to it, like i did, where i was simulating a fall, followed by a splat.

@JohnGabriel - Someone gets it. Thanks haha.

Now then.

TheVideoGamer - Tried to make a track that tells somewhat of a story. The consistent pulse signifies nerves, the chords are flashbacks to a somewhat enjoyable and memorable past, and the tempo curve is the slip into the fall, followed by the final splat. The chords drive the composition, otherwise it would get very stale very fast. As much as it's quite weird and polarising, the goal is conveying meaning with the music. Yes it's over 6 minutes, please don't go on about it, it's only 8 seconds over, and i already had to cut it down from 6:37, which took 4 re-renders. Anyways.

Arcana - Really dig the drums and chords here, very pretty in a way. I should try and make a beat in under 20 minutes, i probably won't get far haha. If anything 1 minute is impressive, because i might only get 30 seconds lol. Digging the sounds though, if simple and short. I'll give you this one, only because i need an excuse to fit 3 people in lol, but it was actually really nice to be honest. Good job!

JohnGabrielUK - Ooh i like the falling aspect in the melody. That's a cool idea. I should have done an arpeggio down. Really lovely chords here, definitely an interesting piano piece. Ending was also a good move, even if similar to mine. Well done!

Jontopielski - Ooh great groove. Very much a old school retro game, something from the SNES. Really great ideas here, but quite short. Needs to be expanded, but all in all nice work. Good job!

Vaiaphraim - Really digging the chiptune here, as usual you make such great melodies. The weird timing is quite interesting, especially for the theme of freefalling. It's very cool though, and beautifully executed. Well done!

Sansero - Glad you could showcase something, even if you missed the deadline. Really liking the ambience here, the distant reverb parts are really nicely done. Very minimal and soft, kind of works well. When the chords come in, oh boy it really brings another bit of flavour to it, this is just lovely. Had this bee on the page, you would have made the top 3. Well done!

Top 3 - JohnGabrielUK, Vaiaphraim, Arcana.

You know what, forget the awesome's and all that. None of you guys were bad, it was mostly the fact the ones with the Good Job, were just too short! Everyone was good! Good compo all!
